Redstate.org bans anyone who disagrees with them!

People are welcome to post whatever they think on my blog. They are not required to agree with me and I will not delete posts that I don't like or agree with. Everyone is entitled to their opinion. It's called freedom of speech. It's in a document called the constitution.

I have been saying for some time now that the conservative right-wingers in this country do not care about the constitution. They proved it first by supporting the Patriot Act which includes the ability for law enforcement to tap phones without probable cause or a warrant, the ability to find out what books you check out in a public library without even notifying you they have done so, and the ability to check your email before you do.

Now, I have been posting articles and comments at Redstate.org for awhile. I have been very respectful that it is a pro-republican blog. I have not hammered them about a lot of things on their website, mostly because it wouldn't be fair. They don't have the tools or mentality to have informed debate.

However, when they called people traitors for expressing their right to speak out for what they believe, I defended freedom of speech for all. I did it in a way that was respectful, but I gave no leeway when defending freedoms guaranteed in our constitution. You can read the comments for yourself by clicking here.

The fact that these right wingers openly show disdain for the constitution and for our right to freedom of speech, should show everyone their true colors. Bush supporters are not interested in justice, fair play, the constitution, or our rights as American citizens. They are only interested in pushing their own agenda and if that means lying to the American public, you and I, then so be it. As long as they get what they want, they don't care how they get it. For them, as for Hitler, the end justifies the means.

They have banned me from posting due to the fact I believe in freedom of speech and don't agree that someone who disagrees with our government is a traitor. Good riddance Redstate. I will continue to post about you on my blogs to make sure people know the following;

1. At Redstate.org, you are only welcome IF you agree with President Bush, Conservatives, and Right-Wingers, 100% of the time.
2. Redstate.org will allow you to post a dissenting opinion ONLY if their members have valid arguments to trash your opinion with.
3. At Redstate.org, if you post an argument that contains too much truth for them to argue intelligently with, you will be banned.
4. Redstate.org is only interested in spinning the truth their way. Anything that doesn't support their theory of how life should be cannot be tolerated there.

I'm proud to be banned for standing up for American's right to free speech. Many Americans are proud to have fought for that right, including those currently serving in Iraq. The fact that Redstate.org's members and staff do not believe in the right to free speech shows they are the ones that do not support our troops, not the other way around.

At least Redstate.org has a proper name to identify them with communism.

More things that just piss me off

It's really sad to see so many so called 'patriots' trading in the freedoms our forefathers died to obtain for us. And they give them up gladly. Sadly it reminds me of another time in history when people did terrible things for 'the fatherland'.

If you are a Bush supporter and not a Billionaire then you're either completely nuts, or simply just not paying attention.

That is how they have been brainwashed. They are marching in step to this administration and have entirely lost the ability to think for themselves.

Very disheartening indeed... where the hell are the free-thinkers in that party?

Did they ever have any?

Redstate.org Staff are such cowards they won't even email me privately why I was banned. I emailed them asking the question and was ignored.

Terrible to run your own blog and be such a coward you won't face your posters when asked a question.

Distressing indeed to find the Republicans killing most of the International support the U.S. has previously enjoyed/relied on.

Since the spurious Iraq WMDs, I myself have had to re-THIMK (sic) my support for things that need fixing by American democratic high explosive for civilians.

Who can respect bigotry or mendacity?

Redstate.org is a very appropriate Communist name for a very anti-patriotic U.S. organisation.
Josef Stalin would be chuckling.
